How to Reset a Brother HL-2230 Printer to Factory Settings

Step 1. Ensure that the printer is turned off.

Step 2. Hold the Go button while turning on the printer. Hold the button until all of the LED lights are on and the Ready light turns off.

Step 3: Release the Go button and all of the LED lights should turn off.

Step 4. Now press the Go button 10 times. Once this is complete the printer will automatically restart.
